- Oversee all reinsurance accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Analyze and interpret complex reinsurance agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and errors in reinsurance accounting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of reinsurance transactions.
- Monitor and review reinsurance data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports related to reinsurance activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reinsurance partners and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes related to reinsurance accounting and make necessary adjustments to processes.
- Support and lead special projects related to reinsurance accounting as needed.
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of expertise in reinsurance accounting.
- Provide guidance to other departments on reinsurance accounting matters.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in audits and assist with preparation of audit materials related to reinsurance accounting.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Reinsurance Accounting, Preferably In A Large Insurance Company Or Reinsurance Firm.
Strong Knowledge Of Gaap, Ifrs, And Reinsurance Accounting Principles.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Accounting Issues.
Experience With Sap Or Other Reinsurance Accounting Software, As Well As Advanced Proficiency In Excel.
