- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement security procedures and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents, including root cause analysis and recommendations for remediation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on security incidents and respond to inquiries.
- Identify and escalate critical security incidents to senior team members for further investigation and response.
- Participate in incident response exercises and contribute to the development and improvement of incident response plans.
- Continuously review and improve security processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain documentation of security incidents, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members on security tools and processes.
- Stay compliant with applicable regulations and compliance standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security-related issues and provide guidance to other teams within the organization.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security systems and technologies.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Cybersecurity.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Security Operations Center (Soc) Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, Firewalls, And Endpoint Protection.
Familiarity With Incident Response Procedures And Protocols.
Relevant Certifications, Such As Security+, Ceh, Or Gcih, Are Preferred.
