- Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services in line with company objectives.
- Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating terms and conditions of contracts.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support in the sourcing process.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and continually monitor their performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Utilize best practices in procurement and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor market trends and changes in legislation to anticipate potential risks and opportunities for the company.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure a smooth procurement process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities and contracts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends in procurement to bring new ideas and solutions to the company.
- Mentor and train junior procurement professionals within the team.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Strategic Sourcing, Preferably In A Scientific Or Healthcare Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Sourcing Strategies, Supplier Relationship Management, And Contract Negotiations.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Use Data To Drive Decision Making And Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Suppliers.
