
Procurement/Sourcing Specialist I

- Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to optimize cost savings and ensure delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate procurement needs and requirements.
- Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and cost, and address any issues that arise.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to improve procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on procurement activities and address any concerns or issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement processes and increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to procurement and sourcing.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and changes that may impact procurement activities.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and promoting effective communication.
- Analyze and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and process improvements.
- Continuously assess and evaluate the supply chain to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Sourcing, Preferably In The Life Sciences Or Healthcare Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Procurement Processes, Including Sourcing, Negotiation, And Supplier Management.
Experience With Erp Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office, With Advanced Skills In Excel.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively Across Departments And With External Suppliers.
