Specialist - Legal Contracts

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced and professional Legal Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor to our team, you will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of our contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal aspects of contracts and excellent interpersonal skills.We are looking for someone who has a degree in law, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex contracts. The ability to think critically and creatively, and to work independently with minimal supervision are all musts. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, negotiate and manage complex contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Draft, review, and interpret legal documents including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
3. Ensure the accuracy of all contractual documents, and ensure the company’s legal rights are fully protected.
4. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
5. Monitor and report on contract performance, compliance, and other legal risks.
6. Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, and advise on appropriate legal action when necessary.
7. Liaise and collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.
8. Proactively identify potential improvements and areas of risk, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
9. Provide regular updates and reports on legal matters to management.
10. Manage all contract-related inquiries and requests.
