Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager at the State of Oregon, you will lead a team responsible for the successful planning, delivery, and closure of critical projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with proven leadership skills and the ability to deliver results on time and on budget. They must also have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to quickly adapt to changing requirements. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in project management. • Lead a team in the successful planning, delivery, and closure of critical projects within the organization. • Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. • Develop strategies and plans to ensure objectives are met. • Analyze project requirements and develop plans to ensure successful outcomes. • Monitor progress of projects and provide feedback to team members. • Manage risks associated with projects and make adjustments when necessary. • Effectively communicate project timelines, goals, and objectives to stakeholders. • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed. • Maintain a high level of responsibility and accountability for all projects. • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures. • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment.
