We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Laundry Manager I to join our team and oversee the operations of our correctional facility's laundry facility.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the correctional facility's laundry facility, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  2. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and inmates by following proper safety protocols and procedures.
  3. Ensure all laundry is processed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting the needs of the facility and inmates.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
  5. Train and supervise laundry staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to policies and procedures.
  6. Inspect laundry for quality control and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  7. Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and staff to coordinate laundry services and address any issues or concerns.
  9. Maintain records and reports related to laundry operations, including inventory, staff schedules, and maintenance logs.
  10. Adhere to all departmental rules, regulations, and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve laundry processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of service and safety for staff and inmates.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role In A Laundry Facility, Preferably In A Correctional Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Laundry Operations, Including Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Management, And Budgeting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Laundry Workers.

  • Familiarity With Safety And Sanitation Regulations, As Well As State And Federal Laws Related To Correctional Facilities.
