- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and regulations related to information security and SAP Basis.
- Monitor and evaluate the security and compliance of SAP systems, identifying and addressing any potential vulnerabilities or risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security measures and controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP Basis and information security, providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and address any potential security or compliance issues, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and advancements in information security and SAP Basis, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to security and compliance activities.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to provide updates on security and compliance efforts and address any concerns or questions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge in information security and SAP Basis.
Extensive Knowledge Of Sap Basis: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Sap Basis, Including Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Sap Systems. This Includes Expertise In Sap Security, User Administration, And System Monitoring.
Experience With Sap Security Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Sap Security Compliance Standards, Including Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox), General Data Protection Regulation (Gdpr), And Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (Pci Dss). They Should Also Have Experience Implementing And Maintaining These Standards Within Sap Systems.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Compliance Specialist, The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Technical Issues And Identify Potential Security Risks. They Should Also Be Able To Develop And Implement Solutions To Address These Risks, As Well As Troubleshoot Any Security-Related Issues.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Communicate Technical Information Effectively To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
