Merchandising Lead

We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a drive to exceed customer expectations. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.The Merchandising Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the merchandising department and will be expected to collaborate with store management to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in retail and/or merchandising• Proven track record of successful merchandising strategies• Advanced knowledge of retail operations• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the merchandising department • Collaborate with store management to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability • Monitor inventory levels and ensure product is properly stocked • Ensure prices and markdowns are accurate and up-to-date • Manage store pricing and promotional activities • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement • Train and mentor staff members on merchandising best practices • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers • Monitor market trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
