- Ensure the freshness and quality of all bakery products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including properly stocking ingredients and supplies.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering to ensure adequate supply of bakery items.
- Communicate with team members and management to coordinate daily tasks and ensure efficient operation of the bakery department.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to members, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor and record product temperatures and rotate products to ensure freshness.
- Assist with training and mentoring new bakery team members.
- Support and participate in promotional and seasonal bakery events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
- Continuously seek ways to improve bakery operations and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Necessary To Understand Recipes, Measurements, And Safety Protocols.
Food Handling And Safety Certification: A Certification In Food Handling And Safety Ensures That The Associate Is Knowledgeable About Proper Food Handling Techniques And Can Maintain A Safe And Clean Work Environment.
Previous Experience In Baking Or Packaging: Previous Experience In A Bakery Or Packaging Facility Is Desired, As It Demonstrates Knowledge Of The Job Responsibilities And Experience With Equipment Used In The Process.
Ability To Lift And Carry Heavy Objects: The Job Of A Baker And Packager Associate May Involve Lifting And Carrying Heavy Trays, Boxes, And Bags Of Ingredients, So Physical Strength And Endurance Are Important Qualifications.
Attention To Detail: Baking And Packaging Require Precision And Attention To Detail To Ensure That Products Are Made Correctly And Packaged Accurately. An Associate With Strong Attention To Detail Will Be Able To Produce High-Quality Products Consistently.
