Medical Laboratory Scientist

The Quest Diagnostics team is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and an uncompromising commitment to quality, as well as an understanding of the complexities of laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, have a strong understanding of laboratory information systems, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Perform laboratory tests according to established protocols and guidelines • Utilize laboratory information systems to input and store data • Monitor and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment • Participate in quality control and assurance activities • Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents • Assist in training and orienting new laboratory personnel • Maintain a safe and secure working environment • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving laboratory related issues • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines
