- Perform vascular access procedures for patients requiring medical treatments.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to assess and troubleshoot vascular access devices.
- Monitor and maintain the patency and functionality of vascular access devices.
- Educate patients and their families on proper care and maintenance of vascular access devices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document procedures, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and follow all safety guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices related to vascular access care.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Advocate for patients' needs and rights.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Attend trainings and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare team members.

Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience, Preferably In Vascular Access Or Critical Care.
Certification In Vascular Access (Va-Bc) Or Willingness To Obtain Within 1 Year Of Hire.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
