- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with blood disorders and cancer.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Ensure that all patient care documentation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position, With A Focus On Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
Registered Nurse License: Candidates Must Possess An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New Mexico, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Pediatric Hematology Oncology Certification: Candidates Must Have A Specialized Certification In Pediatric Hematology Oncology, Such As Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (Cphon) Or Equivalent.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Hematology Oncology: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Experience In A Pediatric Hematology Oncology Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Hospital.
Bls And Pals Certification: Candidates Must Have Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications From The American Heart Association.
