- Serve as a role model and advocate for professional and ethical behavior in the field of sterile processing.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and industry professionals to promote the program and build partnerships.
- Adhere to all institute policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and academic integrity.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Sterile Processing Technician In A Healthcare Setting.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) Through Iahcsmm Or Cbspd.
Previous Teaching Or Training Experience, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Sterile Processing Techniques, Infection Control Practices, And Medical Terminology.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Mentor Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
