  1. Provide high-quality physical therapy services to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  2. Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to help patients regain strength and mobility.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  6. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient treatments and progress.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  9. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive and compassionate atmosphere for patients and their families.
  12. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and report any equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Piedmont Healthcare.
  15. Attend and participate in relevant trainings and conferences to stay updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Valid State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Setting.

  • Advanced Certification In Cardiovascular And Pulmonary Physical Therapy (Ccs Or Ccs-P) Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Critical Care Protocols And Procedures, Including Ventilator Management And Hemodynamic Monitoring.
