Distribution Shift Supervisor

- Oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, including coordinating staff schedules, monitoring productivity, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our stores.
- Train and supervise distribution center staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory and production, to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure efficient distribution of products.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and vehicles, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste, while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Communicate with store managers to understand their needs and address any issues related to product deliveries.
- Oversee inventory management, including accurate record-keeping and regular audits to prevent loss or damage of products.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices, conducting regular safety meetings and training for distribution center staff.
- Review and analyze distribution center data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost savings and increased efficiency.
- Act as a positive role model for employees, promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
Previous Supervisory Experience: A Distribution Shift Supervisor At Papa John's Pizza Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Distribution Or Warehouse Setting. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Their Team, Upper Management, And Other Departments. This Includes Written, Verbal, And Interpersonal Communication Skills.
Knowledge Of Distribution Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Distribution Processes, Including Inventory Management, Shipping And Receiving, And Warehouse Operations. This Knowledge Will Ensure Efficient And Accurate Distribution Of Papa John's Products.
Attention To Detail: A Distribution Shift Supervisor Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure All Orders Are Accurate And All Products Are Handled According To Company Standards. This Includes Checking For Quality Control, Verifying Inventory Levels, And Monitoring Shipping And Receiving Processes.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Papa John's Is A Fast-Paced Environment, And The Distribution Shift Supervisor Must Be Able To Thrive In This Type Of Setting. They Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks, Prioritize Effectively, And Make Quick Decisions When Needed. This Requires A High Level Of Energy, Adaptability, And Problem-Solving Skills.
