Scala Software Engineer

At Pandora, we are on the hunt for a passionate, experienced, and motivated Software Engineer in Scala to join our growing team. As a Scala Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain software applications and services that power the Pandora platform. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying applications in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for candidates who have a solid understanding of functional programming concepts and Scala programming language. You should have experience with web technologies, such as HTTP, REST, and GraphQL, as well as an understanding of distributed systems concepts. You should also be familiar with SQL, NoSQL, and other database technologies. Additionally, experience with Scala frameworks such as Akka, Play, and Slick is a plus.We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills. You should have a passion for problem solving, and have an interest in staying current with the latest technologies.
