Surgical Tech - Full Time Days

- Assist in surgical procedures: The Surgical Tech will be responsible for assisting the surgical team with various procedures, including preparing the operating room, organizing surgical instruments, and passing instruments to the surgeon.
- Maintain sterile environment: It is the responsibility of the Surgical Tech to ensure that the operating room remains sterile throughout the procedure. This includes maintaining a sterile field, monitoring and changing sterile drapes, and handling instruments and supplies in a sterile manner.
- Prepare and organize equipment: The Surgical Tech will be responsible for preparing and organizing all necessary equipment and supplies for each procedure. This may include setting up surgical trays, sterilizing instruments, and restocking supplies.
- Communicate with surgical team: The Surgical Tech will play a crucial role in communicating with the surgical team, including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and circulating nurse. Completion Of An Accredited Surgical Technology Program: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Have Successfully Completed An Accredited Program In Surgical Technology. This Ensures That They Have Received The Necessary Training And Education To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential: Possession Of A Nationally Recognized Certification, Such As The Cst Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting, Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Proficiency In The Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting: Previous Experience Working As A Surgical Tech Is Essential For This Role. A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With Surgical Procedures, Equipment, And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Surgical Instruments And Equipment: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Surgical Instruments And Equipment Used In Various Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment. They Must Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize Tasks, And Work Efficiently Under Pressure To Ensure Smooth And Timely Surgical Procedures.
