Registered Nurse - Pediatric PACU

1. Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from surgery and procedures.
2. Assess, monitor, and document patient's physical and emotional status before, during, and after procedures.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
5. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and potential complications.
6. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
10. Stay current with best practices and trends in pediatric nursing.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
12. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
13. Collaborate with the PACU team to ensure efficient and effective patient flow.
14. Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
