  4. Assist with training and instruction on how to effectively use the library's resources and databases.

  6. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the hospital to support research projects and educational initiatives.
  7. Organize and promote educational events and workshops to enhance the learning experience and knowledge of medical staff.
  8. Manage and update the library's online presence, including the website and social media accounts.
  9. Ensure compliance with copyright laws and maintain the integrity of the library's resources.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve library services to meet the changing needs of the healthcare industry.
  11. Maintain accurate records and statistics of library usage and resources.
  12. Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field of medical librarianship.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Library And Information Science From An Ala-Accredited Program.

  • Experience Working In A Medical Or Health Sciences Library Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Resources, Such As Pubmed And Cinahl.

  • Familiarity With Evidence-Based Practice And Clinical Decision Support Tools.

  • Strong Communication And Instructional Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Assist Healthcare Professionals In Finding And Utilizing Relevant Medical Information.
