  1. Develop and execute product strategies that align with the overall vision and brand of Nordstrom.
  2. Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify key opportunities and drive product innovation.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, merchandising, and sourcing to develop product concepts that meet customer needs and align with company goals.
  4. Manage the entire product development process from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  5. Monitor and track product performance and make data-driven decisions to drive sales and profitability.
  6. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate costs, lead times, and ensure product quality meets Nordstrom standards.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to inform product development decisions.
  8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior product developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  9. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of product development plans.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and identify opportunities to streamline and optimize product development operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Development: The Ideal Candidate For A Senior Product Developer, Women's Role At Nordstrom Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Product Development, Preferably In The Retail Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Product Development Process And Be Able To Lead A Team In Executing It Effectively.
