- Conduct thorough investigations into potential risks and losses within the company.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to identify patterns and trends in security incidents.
- Monitor and review CCTV footage to identify suspicious activity and potential theft.
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement to resolve security incidents.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent future security incidents.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
- Train and educate store employees on security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and investigations.
- Monitor and respond to alarms and emergency situations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention.

- Work closely with other members of the Loss Prevention team to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to security.

Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Retail Loss Prevention Or Investigative Work: Candidates For A Loss Prevention Investigator Position At Neiman Marcus Group Should Have A Strong Background In The Retail Industry, Specifically In Loss Prevention Or Investigative Work. This Experience Will Provide A Solid Foundation For Understanding The Unique Challenges And Strategies Involved In Preventing And Investigating Retail Theft.
Proficiency In Surveillance And Investigation Techniques: A Successful Loss Prevention Investigator Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Surveillance And Investigation Techniques, Including Cctv Monitoring, Covert Operations, And Evidence Collection. Candidates Should Have Experience In Conducting Investigations And Be Able To Identify And Document Evidence In A Thorough And Professional Manner.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Working In Retail Requires Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, And This Is Especially True For A Loss Prevention Investigator. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With A Variety Of Individuals, From Store Associates To Law Enforcement Officials, And Be Able To Build Relationships And Gain Trust In Order To Effectively Carry Out Their Duties.
