Compliance Officer

Nationwide Mutual Insurance is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our expanding team. 2. Analyze and assess potential risks, ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to protect the company.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
4. Review contracts and other documents for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Educate staff and management on compliance issues and provide guidance on related matters.
6. Investigate potential violations of laws and regulations and take appropriate corrective action.
7. Maintain records of compliance activities and regularly report on activities and findings.
8. Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company’s operations and activities.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
10. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to compliance.
