Perioperative Equipment Technician

At Moffitt Cancer Center, we are looking for a talented and experienced Perioperative Equipment Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about our mission and who is committed to providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate must have a strong technical background with a minimum of two years of related experience, a desire to stay current with the latest technologies, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of medical equipment and/or instrumentation. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments and individuals is essential. Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a variety of medical equipment and/or instrumentation.
2. Stay current with the latest technologies and developments in the medical equipment and/or instrumentation field.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and other members of the healthcare team.
4. Work collaboratively and effectively with other departments and individuals to ensure successful operations.
5. Maintain records of work performed, material and equipment used, and any maintenance or repairs completed.
6. Follow safety guidelines and protocols while working with medical equipment and/or instrumentation.
7. Assist in the procurement of medical equipment and/or instrumentation as needed.
8. Conduct regular inspections of medical equipment and/or instrumentation to ensure proper functioning.
9. Provide guidance and training to other staff members on the use and maintenance of medical equipment and/or instrumentation.
