- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of international trade regulations and laws, including but not limited to export control, customs, and sanctions programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements related to the import and export of goods and services.
- Develop and implement import/export control policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all import/export control matters within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all import/export activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to identify any potential compliance risks and develop corrective action plans.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and provide guidance to the organization on any necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Manage all import/export licenses, permits, and other required documentation.
- Facilitate training and education programs for employees on import/export control regulations and compliance.
- Monitor and track import/export activities to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
- Serve as a liaison with government agencies and other external stakeholders on import/export control matters.
- Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with all import/export control requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to resolve any import/export compliance issues or incidents.
- Continuously improve and optimize import/export processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to import/export activities and compliance measures.
A Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, International Relations, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Semiconductor Or High-Tech Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations, Including Export Control Laws And Customs Regulations.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Plan, Coordinate, And Execute Import/Export Compliance Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact And Negotiate With Government Agencies, Customers, And Internal Stakeholders.
