Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team at Mercy. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a positive experience for our patients. You will be the face of Mercy, providing courteous and professional service at all times. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting, as well as a Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent. You should have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be comfortable working with a diverse patient population. Additionally, you should be organized and detail-oriented, and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.If you have a passion for helping patients and a friendly, professional demeanor, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care by attending to their needs and concerns in a timely manner
• Serve as the face of Mercy by providing courteous and professional service at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized medical office setting
• Communicate effectively with both patients and staff
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records
• Assist physicians with patient exams and treatments
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Follow established clinic policies and procedures
• Handle patient phone calls and inquiries
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up appointments
• Process patient paperwork and insurance forms
• Perform laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment
