Job Description

Merck & Co. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our team and take our business to the next level! We are looking for an individual who is passionate about healthcare and has the drive and desire to make a difference.The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry. An understanding of the healthcare system, including physicians, managed care organizations, and hospitals is a must. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.In addition to excellent sales and communication skills, the ideal candidate should have strong business acumen, be results oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to work independently. A positive attitude and the ability to be a team player is essential. The successful candidate must also possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, managed care organizations, and hospitals.
  3. Work independently to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  4. Utilize strong business acumen to analyze and interpret customer data and market trends.
  5. Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to potential customers.
  6. Monitor and track sales activity and performance.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current products and services.
  8. Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage customer inquiries and complaints.
  10. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
