1. Provide high-quality care to patients by assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
2. Build strong relationships with patients and their families to support their emotional and psychological needs.
3. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate medical staff.
5. Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
6. Assist with patient transportation, including pushing wheelchairs and accompanying patients to appointments.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
8. Provide comfort and support to patients during procedures and treatments.
9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve job knowledge and skills.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to maintain a high level of professionalism and patient confidentiality.
11. Handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
12. Show empathy, patience, and understanding towards patients and their families, especially during difficult times.
