Extensive Experience In Operational Excellence And Process Improvement: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Implementing And Leading Operational Excellence Initiatives In A Large, Global Organization. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Successfully Driving Process Improvements And Cost Savings Across Multiple Functions And Business Units.
Strong Strategic Thinking And Execution Skills: The Sr Director Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Medical Device Industry And Be Able To Develop And Execute Strategies That Align With Medtronic's Overall Business Objectives. They Should Also Have The Ability To Anticipate And Adapt To Market Trends And Competitive Landscape.
Product Development And Commercialization Expertise: A Strong Understanding Of The Product Development Lifecycle And Experience In Bringing New Products To Market Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Commercializing New Products And Driving Growth In Existing Product Lines.
Leadership And People Management Skills: The Sr Director Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Professionals And Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Influence Key Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
