  • Conduct research and development in the field of proton therapy to advance the understanding and application of this cutting-edge technology
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of proton therapy treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, and therapists to ensure the safe and effective delivery of proton therapy
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards for proton therapy equipment and procedures
  • Participate in clinical trials and contribute to publications and presentations on proton therapy research
  • Stay current on advancements in proton therapy technology and techniques through continuing education and participation in professional conferences
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and precision in proton therapy treatments
  • Train and mentor other staff members, including trainees and junior physicists, in the principles and techniques of proton therapy

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Medical Physics From An Accredited University.

  • Certification By The American Board Of Radiology In Therapeutic Medical Physics.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Proton Therapy Physics, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.

  • Familiarity With Advanced Treatment Planning Systems And Quality Assurance Processes Specific To Proton Therapy.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Provide Mentorship To Junior Physicists.
