- Receive and process incoming merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure accuracy of received merchandise by verifying quantities and quality.
- Organize and stock merchandise on the sales floor according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular inventory counts and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating merchandise and answering any questions they may have.
- Follow safety and security procedures to protect the company's inventory and assets.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding merchandise quality or availability to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to assist customers with their purchases.
- Assist with processing and fulfilling online orders as needed.
- Participate in store events and promotions to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Display a positive and professional attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
Strong Organizational Skills: Retail Receiving Support Associates Must Possess Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure That Inventory Is Received, Sorted, And Processed Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role, As Retail Receiving Support Associates Are Responsible For Verifying Quantities, Inspecting Merchandise For Damage, And Ensuring That Shipments Are Correctly Labeled And Scanned Into Inventory.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods Of Time, Often While Carrying Heavy And Bulky Boxes. Candidates Must Possess The Physical Stamina To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Effective Communication Skills: Retail Receiving Support Associates Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Managers, And Vendors To Ensure That All Shipments Are Received And Processed Accurately And In A Timely Manner.
Familiarity With Inventory Management Systems: Experience With Inventory Management Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates Should Be Comfortable Using Technology To Track And Manage Inventory Levels And Resolve Any Discrepancies.
