Retail Receiving Support Associate

1. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments according to company standards and procedures.
2. Unload and sort merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
3. Inspect merchandise for any damages or discrepancies and report findings to the appropriate team member.
4. Organize and stock merchandise in designated areas in the store.
5. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
6. Efficiently process merchandise returns and exchanges.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
8. Communicate any inventory shortages or overages to management.
9. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
10. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving any issues related to merchandise.
11. Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies and guidelines.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
13. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
14. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
15. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
16. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
17. Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers with their inquiries.
18. Uphold company standards for customer service, cleanliness, and presentation.
19. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
20. Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
