- Conduct thorough patient assessments and determine appropriate treatment plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Provide high-quality care to patients, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Stay current with medical advancements, treatment protocols, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of LifeBridge Health and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Appropriate Education And Certification: A Physician Assistant (Pa) Must Have Completed An Accredited Pa Program And Hold A Valid State License. Additional Certification Such As The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa) Is Also Highly Desired.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience Working As A Physician Assistant Is Typically Required For A Part-Time Position At Lifebridge Health. This Experience Should Include A Range Of Specialties And Patient Populations.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Part-Time Physician Assistant At Lifebridge Health, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential. The Candidate Should Also Demonstrate Strong Teamwork Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
Proficient In Medical Procedures And Techniques: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Procedures And Techniques, As Well As The Ability To Perform Them Effectively. This Includes Skills Such As Suturing, Casting, And Administering Injections.
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems: As A Part-Time Physician Assistant At Lifebridge Health, The Candidate Should Be Familiar And Comfortable With Using Electronic Medical Records Systems. This Includes Entering Patient Data, Retrieving Medical Records, And Documenting Patient Encounters Accurately And Efficiently.
