  1. Process and handle patient samples with care and accuracy.
  2. Ensure all samples are properly labeled and tracked.
  3. Follow standard operating procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
  4. Utilize various equipment and computer systems to process samples efficiently.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to meet daily processing goals.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with samples or equipment.
  8. Communicate effectively with lab technicians and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Continuously monitor and maintain inventory of supplies.
  11. Train and mentor new team members on specimen processing procedures.
  12. Keep up-to-date with new developments and advancements in the field of specimen processing.
  13. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
  15. Act as a senior member of the team, providing guidance and support to less experienced staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Protocols, Including Specimen Collection, Processing, And Handling.

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Quality Control And Assurance Processes, Including Proficiency Testing And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Train And Mentor Junior Laboratory Staff.
