Lab Assistant

At LabCorp, we are seeking an organized and motivated Lab Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for performing general lab functions, including specimen processing and testing. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and process specimens for testing according to laboratory standards.
2. Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including centrifuges, microscopes, and liquid chromatographs.
3. Prepare reagents, solutions, and stains for use in laboratory testing.
4. Perform laboratory testing according to established protocols and procedures.
5. Document all testing, results, and analysis accurately.
6. Ensure laboratory safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
7. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
8. Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
9. Assist with research and development projects as needed.
10. Monitor laboratory quality assurance standards and procedures.
