- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and goals in order to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain function.
- Continuously monitor and reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other physical therapy staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay updated on current research and advancements in the field of physical therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Act as a positive representative of Kaiser Permanente, promoting our mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Licensed Physical Therapist, With Specific Experience In A Clinical Setting.
Master's Degree Or Higher In Physical Therapy From An Accredited University.
Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist And Board Certification From The American Board Of Physical Therapy Specialties (Abpts).
Excellent Clinical And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Colleagues.
Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice And Current Trends In Physical Therapy, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans For Complex Cases.
