- Lead and oversee the development and optimization of API upstream processes for pharmaceutical products.
- Utilize your strong background in upstream process development to drive innovation and efficiency in our processes.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance process performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in upstream process development, and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into our processes.
- Develop and maintain process validation protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and train junior scientists in upstream process development techniques and best practices.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate progress, results, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all experiments, data, and results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and practices in the laboratory.
- Act as a strategic thinker and provide input on long-term process development goals and objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to identify and incorporate new technologies and processes into our operations.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology)
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Upstream Process Development For Biologics Or Pharmaceuticals, With A Focus On Api Production
Extensive Knowledge Of Cgmp Regulations And Experience With Regulatory Submissions For Api Manufacturing
Proven Leadership And Project Management Skills, With Experience Managing And Developing A Team Of Scientists
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Drive Innovation And Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement.
