Associate Manager, Laboratory Operations

IQVIA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Manager of Laboratory Operations to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations of our laboratory are managed effectively and efficiently. To be successful you will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field, plus a minimum of five years’ experience working in a laboratory setting. You must also have a proven track record of successfully managing laboratory operations, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Monitor lab safety and security, and ensure that all personnel are trained in proper safety and handling protocols.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
5. Manage and supervise laboratory personnel and provide guidance and support to ensure their successful performance.
6. Analyze data and generate reports to track laboratory performance and identify areas of improvement.
7. Remain current on industry trends and best practices to ensure the laboratory is operating at peak efficiency.
8. Track and manage laboratory budgets and expenditures.
9. Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with laboratory services.
10. Participate in laboratory-related research projects and provide technical advice and support.
