Job Description

As a DevOps Technical Support Professional, you will provide primary and secondary PASE (Production Application Support Engineer) support for UNIX based applications. Support includes: Coordination of Release Implementation activities for new and existing applications, including negotiation with clients and other support groups; Development of documentation required for managing applications; Development of UNIX scripts to aid in release activities and application monitoring, System performance monitoring and tuning, responding to and resolving outages for applications on a 7 X 24 basis; Maintaining outage and problem statistics.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working knowledge of UNIX OSs; (LINUX Redhat, Solaris, HPUX.)

  • Experience troubleshooting UNIX application problems

  • Experience with VI or other UNIX editors

  • Ability to Project Manage releases and changes
