- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve event revenue goals and targets.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Create detailed event proposals and contracts, outlining all event details and costs.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g. catering, audiovisual, housekeeping) to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Utilize strong sales skills to close deals and secure new business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all event bookings and revenue.
- Conduct site visits and provide tours to potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously improve our event services.
- Train and supervise event staff to ensure a high level of service and professionalism.
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during the planning and execution of events.
- Ensure all events are executed within budget and in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any questions or concerns.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote our event services and attract new business.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Hotel Or Resort Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Event Planning Processes And Best Practices
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Clients And Vendors
Proficiency In Event Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite.
