Job Description

The Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant - Infections Disease to join our dedicated team of medical professionals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality patient care and is committed to providing the highest caliber of care. The successful candidate will be an experienced medical assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is capable of multitasking.The Senior Medical Assistant - Infections Disease will be responsible for providing direct patient care as directed by the physician, assist with patient exams, obtain medical histories, and assist with additional medical procedures and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting, preferably in an Infections Disease specialty. They must be organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care as directed by the physician.
  2. Assist with patient exams and obtain medical histories.
  3. Assist with additional medical procedures and administrative tasks.
