Job Description

Houston Methodist is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Conflict of Interest Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis and help us create a culture of ethical research. As a Research Conflict of Interest Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the research conducted at Houston Methodist is conducted in an ethical and compliant manner. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of the rules and regulations related to research conflict of interest and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Responsibilities of a Research Conflict of Interest Analyst:

  1. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs related to research conflict of interest to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  2. Monitor and review research activities to identify potential conflicts of interest and ensure compliance with research policies.
  3. Advise research personnel on policies, procedures, and processes related to research conflict of interest.
  4. Develop and deliver educational programs and materials related to research conflict of interest.
  5. Identify and assess research conflicts of interest and assist with the management and resolution of any identified conflicts.
  6. Prepare and submit reports to internal and external stakeholders on research conflict of interest activities.
  7. Monitor and track compliance with research policies and regulations.
  8. Maintain detailed records and reports related to research conflict of interest.
  9. Serve as a resource to researchers and administrators on research conflict of interest policies and procedures.
