Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our hotel, ultimately contributing to the seamless operation of our establishment.   1. Receive and process incoming deliveries of goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
  2. Inspect and verify all items received to ensure quality and quantity meet hotel standards.
  3. Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized inventory records, including tracking supplies and updating stock levels.
  5. Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure timely delivery of goods to designated areas.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while handling and storing deliveries.
  7. Assist in unloading and unpacking of shipments, and properly store items in designated storage areas.
  8. Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve any delivery and inventory-related conflicts.
  9. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies and report findings to management.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and storage areas.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including confidentiality and security measures.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and streamline receiving operations.
  14. Monitor and report on receiving metrics, including delivery times and accuracy.
  15. Train and mentor new receiving clerks as needed.
