
Receiving Clerk

As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our hotel, ultimately contributing to the seamless operation of our establishment. - Receive and process incoming deliveries of goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Inspect and verify all items received to ensure quality and quantity meet hotel standards.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory records, including tracking supplies and updating stock levels.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure timely delivery of goods to designated areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while handling and storing deliveries.
- Assist in unloading and unpacking of shipments, and properly store items in designated storage areas.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve any delivery and inventory-related conflicts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies and report findings to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and storage areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including confidentiality and security measures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and streamline receiving operations.
- Monitor and report on receiving metrics, including delivery times and accuracy.
- Train and mentor new receiving clerks as needed.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Previous Experience In A Hotel Or Hospitality Industry Preferred
