  1. Assist the imaging department in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results to patients.
  2. Perform duties such as preparing patients for imaging procedures, positioning patients for scans, and operating imaging equipment under the direction of a licensed radiologist.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all imaging equipment is properly sanitized and functioning correctly.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have about their imaging exam.
  5. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  6. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document and report patient information.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  8. Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures, reporting any concerns or issues to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  9. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies.
  10. Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of imaging procedures and equipment, staying up-to-date with industry standards and advancements.
  11. Participate in departmental meetings and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  14. Contribute to the overall success of the imaging department by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Educational Requirement For An Imaging Aide Job At Highmark Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Perform Tasks That Require Basic Math And Communication Skills.

  • Previous Experience In A Medical Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Medical Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Preferred For An Imaging Aide Position At Highmark Health. This Experience Provides The Candidate With Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, As Well As An Understanding Of Patient Care And Confidentiality.
