- Oversee and manage all aspects of dietary operations at the facility.
- Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents while adhering to dietary restrictions and regulations.
- Train and supervise dietary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and service.
- Monitor food inventory and ensure timely ordering and delivery of necessary supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the dietary needs of residents are met.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to food service and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to dietary operations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding dietary services and any changes or updates.
- Identify and address any issues or concerns related to dietary operations.
- Ensure all dietary equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for dietary staff.
- Participate in the hiring and training of new dietary staff.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required by the company.
Possession Of A Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification From The Association Of Nutrition And Foodservice Professionals (Anfp).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Dietary Management Or Supervisory Role In A Healthcare Or Long-Term Care Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Foodservice And Sanitation In Healthcare Facilities.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
Proficiency In Menu Planning, Food Purchasing, And Budget Management, With A Focus On Providing Nutritious And Appealing Meals For Patients And Residents.
