Retail Buyer

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced Retail Buyer to join Harry Winston’s team. As part of our Merchandising and Buying team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a strong assortment of merchandise across all of our retail stores. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who brings a creative eye, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the luxury retail market.At Harry Winston, we believe our retail buyers are the backbone of our success. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery
2. Analyze customer needs and expectations to create a buying plan that meets customer demands
3. Analyze market trends and identify new product opportunities to increase sales
4. Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and terms of purchase
5. Monitor inventory levels and adjust buying plan accordingly
6. Organize and attend market research trips to discover new product lines
7. Maintain accurate records of inventory and sales data
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as merchandising and marketing to ensure successful product launches
9. Ensure product displays and store layout are updated according to changing trends
10. Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction.
