Overview:The Product Developer at GUESS is a critical member of our Product Development team, responsible for helping to create the innovative and trend-setting products that define our brand. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Development, this individual will be a creative problem-solver who can develop strategies to create products that align with GUESS’s overall vision and aesthetic. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and passionate individual to join us in this role.Qualifications:We are looking for a Product Developer with prior experience in apparel product development who is knowledgeable about the fashion industry and trends. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. A Bachelor’s degree in fashion or a related field is preferred. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be able to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities: • Develop innovative and trend-setting products that align with GUESS’s overall vision and aesthetic • Research and analyze industry trends to create product strategies that meet the needs of customers • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product designs are meeting customer requirements • Develop detailed product specifications and documentation for use in product development • Monitor the progress of product development to ensure timelines and budgets are met • Evaluate completed products to ensure they meet quality standards • Create detailed reports and presentations for use in product development meetings • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments in fashion and apparel
