  1. Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems in GM facilities to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance plans for electrical systems, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to continuously improve facility operations.
  6. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans for potential electrical hazards.
  7. Work with outside contractors and vendors to oversee installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on electrical systems and safety protocols.
  9. Create and maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance records.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to electrical systems in GM facilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Electrical Engineering, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Electrical Codes, Standards, And Regulations.

  • Experience With Design And Implementation Of Electrical Systems, Including Power Distribution, Lighting, And Hvac Controls.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Complex Electrical Systems And Equipment, Including Plcs And Motor Control Centers.
