  1. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for corrective action.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks in the workplace.
  4. Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
  5. Conduct research and analysis on emerging safety trends and best practices.
  6. Participate in incident investigations and help develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to EHS activities.
  8. Support the EHS team in conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
  9. Communicate and promote a culture of safety and wellness throughout the organization.
  10. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
  11. Act as a resource for employees on EHS-related questions and concerns.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve EHS processes and procedures.
  13. Attend and participate in EHS meetings, trainings, and events.
  14. Adhere to Fortive's code of ethics and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of At Least Two Years Of Undergraduate Studies In An Accredited Environmental Health & Safety Program Or Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations, Including Osha And Epa Standards.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Identify Potential Safety Hazards And Develop Solutions.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Also Being A Team Player.
