Job Description

  1. Oversee and manage daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  2. Train, coach, and mentor team members to provide exceptional customer service and maintain store standards.
  3. Assist in creating and implementing strategies to drive sales and achieve store goals.
  4. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Ensure store is fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and energetic work environment.
  8. Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to the company's values.
  9. Act as a role model for team members by following all company policies and procedures.
  10. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  12. Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to team members to ensure efficient store operations.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  15. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and procedures for a better customer and employee experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Customer Service Or Retail: A Support Lead At Five Below Will Be Responsible For Assisting Customers And Managing The Store During Their Shift. Previous Experience In Customer Service Or Retail Will Demonstrate The Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries And Manage Store Operations Effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Support Lead Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Fellow Employees. This Includes Being Able To Provide Clear Instructions, Listen Actively, And Resolve Conflicts In A Professional Manner.

  • Leadership And Supervisory Experience: As A Support Lead, One Must Be Able To Lead And Supervise A Team Of Employees. Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role Is Preferred, As It Shows The Ability To Manage And Motivate Others.

  • Organizational Skills: A Support Lead Will Be In Charge Of Managing The Store And Ensuring Tasks Are Completed Efficiently. Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary To Prioritize Tasks, Delegate Responsibilities, And Maintain A Clean And Organized Store Environment.

  • Flexibility And Availability: Five Below Is A Retail Store That Operates During Peak Shopping Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends. The Ideal Candidate For A Support Lead Position Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work During These Times. This Also Includes Being Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Handle Unexpected Issues That May Arise During A Shift.
